STYLIST’S NOTE
Everyone needs the perfect cotton button down shirt in their wardrobe, for work and play alike. Our crisp cotton shirts come in 5 colors including classic white, and in three amazing tints for something a little different, that go with everything! We love a white shirt, but gentle tints can provide a flattering and unusual alternative...we have developed three tints to start with, and love them so much, we may create more! They are especially beautiful combined with our super-soft pointelle scarves which are available in co-ordinating hues, and go as well tucked into your favorite jeans, as our silk pants n°11, or knotted over our silk camisole n°19 and paired with our swirly three tier lace skirt n°7!

FABRIC NOTES
We use two types of superior cotton fabrics for our shirts, both from the same supplier. One cotton is from Egypt, cultivated in the fertile region of the Nile delta and the other from cotton grown mainly in California with the identifying characteristics being the absence of pollution of the fibers. Our fabrics are soft and silky and do not degrade over time. Through proper washing, the softness increases and the freshness of the material maintains its original brightness.
You may machine wash it at a 30°C cycle and tumble dry it on medium power. Use a warm iron. Do not use bleach (ever).

It features discrete cuffs on three quarter length sleeves with internal gros-grain detail, and is eminently versatile. This shirt is designed with our signature elegant sweep, from slightly shorter at the front, to longer at the back, and as with chemise No1, this luxurious look is likewise created with internal French seams, set in sleeves, and a covered plaquette, concealing the mother of pearl buttons for a neat look. The shirt features the consummate small collar to suit all facial shapes and necklines, and a flattering back pleat emerging from the double layered yolk, for some gentle but structured movement.
